  1. Really nice pool Super Shoe.
Yea… RIAA is not someone to mess with.

Great message, great examples, great inspiration, ok video. In my honest opinion, the great content was about 5-6mins. Don’t get me wrong, enjoyed it immensely. And you’re absolutely right, I too have made more money on the flip side of adversity. It gives you a chance to rebuild and apply lessons learned from the first failure. That’s when the proverbial cream rises to the top. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

  3. havent watched the video yet but having your logo at the bottom of the pool is pretty effn cool! you have cool stuff bottom line i dont even need to watch your video… thanks for hooking up the gklm for frank kern at the list control event thats going to make some good coin!

  4. Margaret

This was excellent. Almost more valuable than the 1st video about the marketing weapons. Message is to “make lemonade” without ever saying that. It’s delivered without disrespecting anyone who holds the traditional distaste for adversity. This video gives you more than a marketing take-away…it’s applicable to LIFE.

  5. Hey Shoe,

This was a good time to hear this message… Thanks!

    Korak

(The pool cutaways were a little distracting though…)

  6. Awsome video. I’m looking forward to the rest.
    Thanks !!!

  7. thanks,

  8. Good info,,, (nice pool cleaner too…lol). It is very true – what you said about adversity. It is how you handle it that will determine your future. I’ve face plenty of adversity including a heart attack at 44, being over 200k in debt, and finding out that after negotiating all the debt down to 50k… and paying it off… that now I owe the IRS another 50k.

My point is this. I would NEVER had the drive or purpose to develop the internet businesses that I have if I never would have experience all of the adversity mentioned above. But my family and I have a “never say die” attitude and when you simply will not consider failure as an option you r vision becomes much clearer and more defined.

Can’t wait to hear about the legal tips to implement….thanks again

    Gregg

  9. This is a good video. Having been in business for a while now and done pretty well, it is the obstacles and the blocks that are most interesting to me. Turning the difficult experiences into profitable opportunities is something every business person should look at.

  10. I decided to check out your page in the hopes of finding ways to generate new customers.
I found the first 2 videos very useful and will work on ways to apply what i learned.
I am unable, however to get the other 2 videos to work, I am particularly interested in the Mimi Ads mastery.

I live in the Cayman islands, and have been trying to find ways to make money online for years, i have yet to find a method that earns more than a buck or two a month, that does not require me to pay a pile of money to get started.

  11. Doug C

Thanks – really enjoyed hearing about how you responded to adversity and how you didn’t like / liked what came out of it.

  12. Haoting

I love this video. You really hit the sweet spot this time. What you shared in this video is so true. We should embrace adversity and look at it as an opportunity to grow. Can’t wait to learn more about the product that you are going to launch!

  13. Refreshing to hear someone who takes responsibility for where he is. Love the pool robot, what do you call him (or her)?

  14. Running water… crawling pool cleaner… casual dog… black nail polish… brilliant content …your take on adversity is spot on – some of the most successful people in the world can also attest to this mindset. Great launch content overall mate.

  15. Tiffany Parker

Wow what a great story thanks for sharing.

  16. Brett S. Solari

The RIAA sounds really scary, “they were gonna come after our first born” very funny, but still scary! Definitely makes me rethink messing with the recording industry.

  17. Clara Ellis

That is a beautiful pool, you have a lovely home. And it is nice to hear that you had to overcome some hurdles to get it, and how you came out ahead in the end.

  18. William Humphries

It is so nice to hear about someone who has also dealt with adversity, I am now motivated to try harder to over come, instead of taking the easy way. Thanks for the uplift.

  19. Molly Horne

I though the pool cutaways were nice, very soothing. Great video too.

  20. Anmar Sundus Shamoun

I have also lived through experiences like this. Thank you for the motivating tale.

    Yours,

What a wonderful story thanks for sharing.

  24. love your video, you are very positive, love your pool and your dog, continue to be bless

  25. I agree. All things happen for a reason and lead to something bigger and better!

  26. Shoe is the main! Been following you for years!…Love the pool by the way!

  27. Heehee I seen the black nail polish on your toes! Thanks for the info though!

  28. Thanks so much! Your videos are superb!

  29. raphaella luong

This video is awesome. Thanks a lot

  30. Shoe,
Awesome video! I really enjoyed this, it has re-motivated me and I look forward to the rest of the videos. Having built a monster online company before, then having dealt with the personal, financial, and legal aspects of it, I completely understand where you are coming from.
Great job, keep up the good fight!
    Tom

  31. Hi Shoe,

    Thank you for your videos.
I’ve been watching them several times
    BUT
do you think you could facilitate to me a way to download them?

I thought for a while before asking to you this…,however I certainly do appreciate very much to have the possibility to download your videos!

  32. What a great video,
makes me hungry for the next.

  33. I love the pool :)

  35. Good video and advice Shoe,

I think it’s great that you can turn this particular adversity into something positive, but I am curious to know if there were a time where you couldn’t turn it around, and when did you know it was time to let it go. One of my biggest problem is that I love a challenge and a true believer of “where there’s a will, there is a way” except I’m too stubborn to wave the white flag sometimes and looking back those times have cost me dearly.

  37. I more than agree that adversity is a fantastic way to spur you on. I have a medical history that scares potential employers (I know, shame on me for being so scary) so I turned to internet marketing. I’ve not been successful but I know that if I keep learning and taking action then I will succeed.

  38. Awsome video. I’m looking forward to the rest.
    Thanks !!!

  39. Hey Shoe if you want some more adversity could I send you some LOL The last 10 years have been crap. But there is one thing the more failures the closer you are to success. I just finished writing a 365 page book.Dealing the secret which has everyone hot and bothered.THE SOURCE OF SECRETS.Because there is not pie in the sky for the taking you have to get off your butt to make things work.Adversity can be help or a hindrance since many people some time find there suitcase to heavy to carry and give up.You could have crawled away but you you found another way to overcome.Life is about overcoming.Every adversity is a teaching tool for good.It hurt me to say without adversity there never would be growth in the human spirit. Success is not money but wealth.Think about it ponder this.Wealth is more than money it is wholeness of the spirit. Bill

  40. This totally reminds me of Seth Godin’s book “The Dip”. The Dip is the adversity you go through in order to achieve success, and the bigger the dip is the less likely that someone else is going to be willing or able to follow your success. If you can go and find dips to go through, or obstacles that must be overcome to achieve a result, then you will leave your competition behind.

  41. Awesome vid! Definitely nice pool.
Hope to have one like that with my logo ;)

  42. I really enjoyed the video. Although sometimes it is best to count your losses and move on, this is an example of turning a problem into a golden opportunity.

Thanks for that. I’m loosing heart at the moment as my advertising isn’t working, Mainly because I have never done this and don’t really know what I’m doing. However, after listening to you I realise I got to re-group and re-think this one not just give up.

Thanks awfully much once again again.

  46. I’d love to “hit something” that just happened to throw $25K at me in a day.

  47. Hi Shoe,

It’s funny that I have the email that sent me here today because you have hit the nail on head as it were when it come to how I have felt lately. I will make this short, but no less than 4 times I have had adversity kick me in the kahonahs just when I thought I was about to get some payback, only to send me backwards 2 or 3 steps. I have been doing marketing on and off now for 10 years and obviously not that well or you would know who I am and this is not the case. The first time I had created a site that would by now be the biggest shopping mall in the world but had my provider take it over because I was about to make some good money and so he charged me 50 times the cost of running my site and charged me like a corporation price. I was in a dial up area and cable was not in our area yet so I had to shut down because it ended up be to much money.

I really feel deep down that I am meant to succeed and all I can say is I will take all the advice from folks like you and not give up. I am 53 and this is my last kick at the can and I will succeed.

Thank again, can’t wait to check out your next vid and god bless.

  48. A lot of good info. I`m going to try it at pro wrestling.

  49. I totally agree with your premise–if you accept the challenge of adversity you end up in an even better place–and I think with all your success you should consider converting your pool into a Lucas Lagoon which is what you and your family truly deserve. Check it out.

  57. Hello Jeremy,
That was a good idea having the video near the pool since it has been warm all over the U.S. lately this summer and cool water is a welcome sight. I like the big “S” in the pool. I was watching the dog and that little car in the pool in the background. What does that little car supposed to do?
Stay cool and I wish you well.

    Cheers,
    Rick

  58. The icon in the pool is so gangsta. lol

  59. Im finding this all so helpful….i hope to get more and looking forward to the next video.

  66. Great video, Jeremy.
Thank you for sharing this one on adversity.
You should read Reality Transurfing books by Russian guy Vadim Zeland: http://amzn.to/Reality-Transurfing-book-1 — this is his first book (there are three out of five of his books translated into English). The guy explains how to use such adversities to your advantage, and much more! You are totally right, that adversities give you an opportunity, it all lies in our attitude towards adversity. Now you have learned and taught others to love adversities, which is great! =)

Thank you for awesome and live example, Jeremy!

If you could share these books with your readers I would greatly appreciate it, and they will too.

  67. Great video as usual! Another prime example of when life gives you lemons, make lemonade! Looking forward to the next in the series! Thanks for taking the time to share with us!

Excellent message & one that will be remembered when these day’s come along—as they do! Sometimes, adersity works in ones best interest too… :o )

  79. Embracing adversity, facing challenges and turning problems into a solution by thinking and creating other possibilities is a great lesson in both life and business. I enjoyed watching this video very much and it hit home today as we had a first business meeting with investor, marketing and R & D. I needed to see this. Thanks.

  80. Jeremy,

Great video! I too have gone through many adversities — legal, financial, emotional, you name it — and I’ve always come out better. Then I make another mistake or hit another snag and do it all over again. That’s life. Life is going to throw some monster bowling balls at you sometimes. The good life comes down to how you choose to react to those bowling balls mowin’ you down. You gotta pick yourself up and try something different. Bob and weave, as it were, until you make it. Life is tough. Deal.

  86. Totally cool! I LOVE it… What is the URL of the site? I would love to look at it. What was the content you put up? Did you mention anything about the RIAA in it ti “SELL” the folks??

Like.. This site was targeted by the RIAA because we became too popular by giving away content… Now they are forcing EVERYONE to pay for those ring tones… Here are some sites you might want to look at for content that is “legal” in the eyes of the RIAA…

We remain hopeful we can kick the RIAA’s butt! Hang with us dudes and dudettes and THANKS for your support!
